Playing cards in a Train!

Jeevan has become the highlight of Tamil cinema after giving consecutive hit movies Thirutu Payalae' and 'Naan Avan Illai' and 'Machakkaran'. The directors are standing in a queue to tell a suitable story for him. It is considered as a success journey for those who go to see him just like the story of journeying in a Sinbad ship. He is a wonderful person of that kind.
A new director has somehow met him and who told a pleasing story by which he has also got the appreciation for the same in that moment itself. Jeevan is as usual acting as an antihero role in the movie 'Payanigal Gavanathirku' which is directed by this new director.
The story of this movie is based on the incidents which are happening daily when traveling in train from Arakkonam to Chennai and how Jeevan is caught by those incidents. What are the rules which are not followed when traveling in train? They are also going to tell of how the passengers are suffering during the travel. Especially they are going to bring in the issue of how the public are affected by some of the strange people who play cards in the train.
They have deposited a huge amount to the Southern Railways since the shootings are going to be taken place for more number of days in the railway station. It looks like they have to check the tickets of many officers if the movie is released.

Sivajiya?Padayappava?

Sivaji has been raking in profits all round. 90% of the theatres in which the movie was released, celebrated the 100th day of the movie and will also celebrate the 150th day. As if that was not enough reason for fans to rejoice, one more comes along! Another blockbuster Rajini starrer, Padayappa, that stunned the box office then, is going to be released again, all over Tamilnadu! The haughty Neelambari and the gallant Padayappa, always at loggerheads, battling wits, was an amazing entertainer, which held the audience in raptures. It was easily one of K.S. Ravikumar ’ s best movies! The re-release of the movie sounds like a fabulous idea. Will Sivaji see its competitor in Padayappa?!

'Doctor' Vijay says

Actor Ilayayathalapathy Vijay is now Dr. Ilayayathalapathy Vijay. The MGR University is conferred an honorary doctorate on him recently. Vijay's fans organized a big function to celebrate this event. Speaking at the function Vijay said that he was greatly honored to receive the doctorate. He said that he would like to be called as Ilayathalapathy and not as Dr. Vijay. He feels that the title Dr. before his name unsettles him.

Will Rajni dub his own voice in Hindi?

Hindi speaking fans of Rajanikanth have something more to cheer about.
Now they would be able to see the super star mouth his dialogues in Hindi as the blockbuster of 2007 sees a dubbed release in Hindi.
To suit the different set of audience that the film is targeting, the three hour plus film would be edited by around 30-40 minutes. Also, there are talks about a few scenes being added to add a slight Bollywood flavour to the narrative.
Work is currently in progress for the film’s dubbing and the plans are on to bring the film on Diwali this year. As of now, Rajnikanth is confirmed for dubbing his own lines from the film.

Prabhu Deva going to direct Ajith:

The renowned Ayngaran International has signed Ajith and,Prabhu Deva for their future projects. Ajith after completing Billa 2007 would be starting a project for the production house from December 2007 for which a suitable director is being sought.
The combination of Ajith and Prabhu Deva would be something new in Kollywood, but the latter is currently busy in Bollywood directing Salman Khan in the Hindi version of Pokkiri, which is likely to get completed next year. Meanwhile commercial directors like K S Ravikumar, Lingusamy, Hari and Saran are also being considered. However Ravikumar's first preference would be to direct Rajinikanth for which talks are said to be going on. Hari plans to do a movie with Bharath after Vel, while Lingusamy has few projects in his mind, one of them being a script for Paruthiveeran Karthik. Saran seems to be more likely to bag the offer, with his story for Kamal being shelved for the time being
